The IEEE Women-in-Engineering Affinity Group in Victoria Australia organised a celebration on 13th June 2006.  A lecture was given by Dr. Robyn Arianrhod, author of "Einstein's Heroes - Imagining the World through the Language of Mathematics" in which JCM is the key figure.

Pictured are: Dr Irena Atov, Chair; Dr. Arianrhod; Fred Clerk, Chairman, Electrical Engineering Branch, Victoria Division, Engineers Australia; and Michelle Robertson, Mr Clerk's daughter.  Like JCM, Mr Clerk is a descendent of the first John Clerk of Penicuik (1611- 1674).
